2011 Apricot Fiesta Baking Contest

Drop off apricot-included baked goods between 4:30 - 5:15pm May 28th at McAuley Ford, 250 N. El Circulo. Judging will begin at 5:30 pm. Also needed is a copy of the recipe, name, address, phone number & entry fee with form for each submitted baked item.

CATEGORIES ARE:

  • Miscellaneous dessert
  • Pies & Cakes
  • Cookies and bars
  • Anything goes (non dessert)
All baked goods must contain apricots.

Entry fee is $5 per item entered.

2011 Little Mister and Miss Apricot Pageant

The Little Mister and Miss Apricot pageant, held in conjunction with the annual Apricot Fiesta, has announced that this year’s application period has begun.

Young boys and girls ages 5 and 6, living within the Patterson Unified School District are encouraged to apply. (Contestants must be at least 5 years old, by April 1st 2011 and not yet 7 years old, by June 4th, 2011).


Each contestant/contestants family is responsible for finding a club, organization or individual to act as his or her sponsor and for submitting a sponsor fee of $150 to the Apricot Fiesta office, no later than April 1st 2011. If more than 12 children apply, finalists will be chosen within a lottery system.

Applications are available by appointment; today through Tuesday February 22nd, 2011.  Completed applications must be returned to pageant organizers no later than 7 pm on Friday February 25th, 2011.

2011 Miss Patterson Pageant

The Miss Patterson pageant, held in conjunction with the annual Patterson Apricot Fiesta, has announced that this year’s application period has begun.

Young women ages 17 to 19 and 16-year-olds who are at least high school juniors, living within the Patterson Unified School District are encouraged to apply.

Contestants must either attend high school and have maintained a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average or have graduated with a high school diploma. Contestants must never have been married, had a child, been convicted of any crime or been expelled from school.

Each contestant is responsible for finding one club, organization or individual to act as her sponsor and for submitting a sponsor fee of $300 to the Apricot Fiesta office.

Applications are available by appointment; today through Tuesday February 22nd, 2011.  Completed applications must be returned to pageant organizers no later than 7 pm on Friday February 25th, 2011.
